Argh argh argh! Is het dan toch een S60R? Er zijn al 2 aanwijzingen voor dat het een S60R is:
1) het interieur is oranje
2) geruchten intern bij Volvo

Is een 285PK T6 AWD en naar het zich er laat uitzien krijgt deze motor binnenkort een powerboost i.v.m. overstap naar directe inspuiting. Vermogen zal waarschijnlijk net boven de 300 PK komen te liggen. Als het dan een handbak is dan heb je in principe een nieuwe R ja.

Waar heb je dit gelezen? Dit was namelijk een 272 pk motor, geen 285 pk... en dat was juist het raadselachtige. Ook suggereert het Zweedse artikel dat de typeregistratie niet klopt en de auto meer vermogen zou hebben dan de opgegeven 272 pk (= 200 kW).

Dus toch spannend...

KW's van de mule auto's kloppen vaker niet. XC60 stond ook als zijnde 200KW op papier en die heeft ook gewoon de nieuwe T6 285 PK.

Laten we nou niet alles over de nieuwe S60 dubbel gaan plaatsen. Dan wordt het nogal onoverzichtelijk.

Nou zie ik in dit filmpje toch wel heel veel van de S60. Maar ik kan niet geloven dat het dak van glas blijft in de productie-uitvoering

Er komt een t6 met 305 pk.
nieuwe 2.0d diesel ( die van ford)
interieur zelfde als xc60 maar het bovenste display verdwijnt en ander stuur.
Er komt standard een 5 inch scherm in (en als je rti neemt 7").
Testen zijn bezig met city safety tot 50 km maar niet zeker of deze het haalt als de s60 in produktie gaat.

jippen (uit Gent neem ik aan ): ook al een idee hoe het verbruik van de T6 met 305 pk zal zijn? Hopelijk een heel stuk minder dan dat van de huidige T6?

Ik neem verder ook aan dat er weer een D5 komt, en heel heel heel misschien wel een krachtigere diesel, zoals BMW en Audi die ook leveren in de vorm van een 3.0 V6 TDi.

En weet je al iets over een eventuele nieuwe S60R? Want dat prototype had een verdacht oranje leerkleur!

Detroit, Genève en Frankfurt en in onze eigen RAI tijdens de Woonbeurs was men laaiend enthousiast over de Volvo S60 concept car. Toonaangevend in het ontwerp was Volvo’s nieuwe Design DNA. Strakke, dynamische lijnen; zelfs stilstaand suggereert de concept car beweging. Maar nu is het genoeg, de S60 concept car is voortaan alleen nog te bewonderen in het Volvomuseum. Het is tijd voor de productieversie.

Officiële foto’s en beeldmateriaal krijgt u voorlopig nog niet te zien. Natuurlijk willen we u niet helemaal in het ongewisse laten. Een bijzondere auto verdient een bijzondere presentatie, een bijzonder verhaal. We vroegen de Turkse kunstenaar Esref Armagan een schilderij van de nieuwe Volvo S60 te maken.

Bijzonder? Jazeker. Esref is namelijk blind, al vanaf zijn geboorte. Hij heeft nog nooit een auto gezien. En juist daarom vroegen we hem. Hij leerde zichzelf schilderen, het zijn unieke platen. Volvo’s eigen kunstenaar Peter Horbury ontving Esref in de Designkelder in Göteborg.

Van het maken van dit schilderij hebben we een documentaire gemaakt en een voorproefje daarvan kunt u zien op Volvo’s Facebook-pagina. De volledige documentaire en het schilderij zullen binnen enkele dagen worden onthuld.

De zweden waren schaars met info , ze wilde of konden niet meer informatie meegeven over motorisaties.(ik zit waarschijnkijk te laag op de ladder om alle info zo vroeg te mogen ontvangen ) We hebben wel al de afgewerkte versie gezien.Onze president was laaiend enthousiast over de rij eigenschappen van de nieuwe S60 en V60.

Naja, nog een paar maandjes wachten
En dan misschien inderdaad gaan kijken in Genève en er gelijk een vakantie in Zwitserland aan vastplakken

Is nog steeds concept versie waarin ze rijden dus...

Dat preview filmpje op Facebook is wel aardig, er zit in ieder geval 1 mooie welving aan de auto!
