Ja precies, afgetapt van de achterspeakers. Maar dus geen aparte sub-out op de radio. Anders zat er ook wel een knopje voor sub-level of iets dergelijks.
En toch kon je het volume-sub via de radio bedienen, en de deuren affilteren....met perfect resultaat ( die holle koektrommel onder de vloer niet meegerekend) .

Je moet weten dat hij ook met een aftermarket HU zit, dus mijn vraag was of hij de optie had bekeken om de OEM HU-850 te gebruiken en wat zijn installateur daarvan dacht. Hier zijn antwoord:

secondly I DID actually wonder that myself prior to having the setup i do now, the thing is that it CAN be done, but he said the amount of time and effort to make it work, when you could just buy an aftermarket head unit with all of the direct lines in and connectivity, it was not preferable but it can be done.
All I know is that you would have to have a separate bass knob for the control of your sub, and that the wiring for the amp is a little wonky because of the leads not being able to handle a certain amperage on the factory head unit, but If you are really curious I can ask him again about your particular sub and amplifier and get back to you about it when i can if thats okay with you??
