Heb een V70 2002 uit de VS, had een tijd stil gestaan en daardoor moesten de remschijven vervangen worden ivm trillingen bij het remmen.
Na een 2tal maanden opnieuw trillingen! De voorremschijven, Brembo, en remblokken vervangen en nu na een maand begint het trillen weer steeds sterker te worden..
Wat gaat er mis? Iemand een suggestie hoe dit zo snel kan?
Zijn het de remschijven of iets totaal anders?

Schijven en contactvlakken van de as wel goed schoon gemaakt bij monteren?
Rustig in geremd?

Inderdaad....de enige verklaring die ik kan bedenken is te hard remmen met niet ingeremde nieuwe schijven.

Was het maar zo simpel..
Nee de garage heeft mij beide keren goed daarop gewezen en ik weet zeker dat ik minstens 500km heel rustig geremd heb. Dus tja, moet iets anders zijn?!

Every case of "warped brake disc" has turned out to be friction pad material transferred unevenly to the surface of the disc.
This uneven deposition results in thickness variation (TV) or run-out due to hot spotting that occurred at elevated temperatures.
The material transfer between the two materials is resulting in uneven deposits and vibration under braking.

PREVENTION
There is only one way to prevent this sort of thing - following proper break in procedures for both pad and disc and use the correct pad for your driving style and conditions.

CURE
Is there a "cure" for discs with uneven friction material deposits?" The answer is a conditional yes.
If the vibration has just started, simply fitting a set of good pads and using them hard (after bedding) may well remove the deposits and restore the system to normal operation.
If only a small amount of material has been transferred i.e. if the vibration is just starting, vigorous scrubbing with garnet paper may remove the deposit.

Nou ik heb het geprobeerd maar het wil nog niet vlotten..
Maar waardoor ontstaat het? Remklauwen scheef, blijven hangen?
Kan dit tweedehands vervangen worden of zeer onverstandig??
