help with "paperwork" - VOLVO 240 POLAR

hello,

could anyone help me with following? I am a member of Czech Volvoklub and I have brought a volvo 240 POLAR, 1993, B230F from Nederland. BUT in original papers of this car is not filled possition K - Typegoedkeuring, which is essential for "legalizing" of this car in Czech rep. Has anyone same car and this number in the papers? I have tried to write to RDW but no answer for 3x. Thanks in advance, veetec

That's the chassis- or identificationnumber.

We need the numberplate. For example: XX-XX-99

That is on the original papers.

I don't have mij papers with me so I can't tell you where it is on the papers exactly.

This numberplate is not listed by the RDW.

Try to call the RDW number: +31 598 39 33 30 between 8:00 en 17:00 uur every day.

Some people here do work for a VOLVO-dealership.

They probably can get the information for the position "Typegoedkeuring" with that numberplate for your original dutchplated car.

But why do the need that "sign". You do have all the dutch papers as the
"Deel I", "Deel 2" and the "Overschrijvingsbewijs" ?
If we have those papers we are shure that this car is compared to the "Typegoedkeuring" otherwise the car is not allowed to go on the road anyhow.

Maybe is it not allowed that you imported a car that is older than 10 years.
I heard that for Poland for example.

well, I have those Deel1 and Deel2 - "big" and "small" one and I have the paper from RDW "Kueringsrapport" but that is all I am afraid. We went with the previous owner to the RDW, where the car was UITVOER - there is a print in deel1 and deel2. And I bought the transport kenteken for journey back to the czech rep.

It is allowed to bring a car older than 8 years into Czech rep. but it has to have the number of type declaration or type certification from Nederland (Homologationsnummer) which is normally in the car papers. I am not sure if this car could be driven in NL if this Homologationsnummer would not exist, am I right?

Sorry for my late response,
Is it possible for you to scan those papers and put them on this site,

Maybe we can see what is missing. If you point out what the Czech "RDW" wants for legalisation. My 480 for example (1995) does not have a "Homologationsnummer" on the papers.

well, yes I can, but it is quite a big file to be readable. hope it gets in.

Homologationsnummer should be possition K

These are the right papers. And its an original Dutch car.

I shall search for more details about the missing links for position K

My guess is that there is only an entry in position K when the car in question is imported and has no 'standard' typegoedkeuring in The Netherlands. There is nothing there on my papers either...

Yes it is an original Dutch car. It is not imported. But official deliverd by "Volvo Nederland". And indeed it is as Geestschrijver said.

Veetec. I don't have the opportunity to help you further because my papers also don't have those signs you are asking for.
Your papers are right, as far as I can see. It should be no problem to get legal Czech papers.
They should not make such problem because there is really no problem.
A "-" would say "not for this vehicle recomended".
