Hello Everyone!

First, sorry for the language. I don't speak Dutch, and this is the best forum for Volvo V60 D6 worldwide!

I need to disassembly the driver side wing mirror of my Volvo 2014 V60 D6. I don't find the way of doing it.

Does anybody knows or have the instructions of doing it without damage to the mirror?

Many thanks in advance! Great car, great forum!

Welcome to the forum,

Depending on what part you want to remove(I don't think there is a huge difference between the V40 and v60):
The complete mirror assembly is mounted with 3 screws behind the interior panel.
If you only want to remove the mirror (glass) part, that is just clamped in, its should come out with a strong suction cup, or otherwise with a pry tool.

edit: watch out for the electrical wires attached to the mirror while removing it.

I have tried with a homemade pry tool, pressing on the outer side of the mirror, but it doesn't go out, and I don't want to harm the original mirror...

I will try with the suction cup, good Idea

Thanks!

Hi Duf and welcome,

Attaches is a manual from Vida (Volvo software) on how to replace the side mirrors. Hope it helps :-)
