Hi .. I am Swedish but leave here for a long time so can read and speak Dutch but need to improve my Dutch writing skills.
After several year without a Volvo (imported a S60 T5 like ca 15 years ago when I moved to Holland) it is now time for a Volvo again.
Was looking around for different cars Q5,Q7, Land Rover Sport, Porsche Macan, X5 etc .. But went to the Volvo dealer and he had ordered a Show model for delivery in August so I took that one.. it a XC90 T8 R Design Savile grey metallic, Lounge Packet with B&W stereo, Air suspension, I believe it is fully loaded and will have the Polestar tuning. According to the dealer I can pick it up end of August. it has the dark interior and 20 inch,,. If I could chose I would probably go for the light interior and maybe 21 inch,, For the rest I am really happy with the spec.

Welcome here! Sounds like a awesome spec XC90! Is the car already made and isn’t the interior changeable in the factory?

Hi Yeah believe it already made or almost done, ok black inside is in one way good (I believe easier to keep clean) but a lighter interior I believe suits the XC90 better.
I am really happy with the specs for sure. I think the only option it does not have is the massage chairs but for the rest I believe it has everything.

BTW anyone knows if the Wireless charing for the phone also have a wireless connection to Apple play ? (weirdo to have wireless charing and still you need to connect it with a cable to get apple play)

Ok! I agree with the light interior! Apple Car play only works with a iPhone cable connected, that is some protection Apple does I believe.

Your T8 specs are very similar to the car I recently traded in for a smaller Volvo . Main reason is that my wife found the XC90 too big to handle..... It was a Swedish import by the way and it had all the options you describe (including g polestar tuning) except the B&W system ....
Fantastic car and I hated to see it go ...
But the wife is right of course (???!???) since we’re retired and don’t drive much these days - so rationally no need for it (... but emotionally It is a different matter).
Anyway enjoy....!

I live in a smaller city and I believe that is a big difference as well. If I lived in Amsterdam or similar I doubt I would get a XC90. Would go crazy to find a parking.
My wife have not seen it yet But she has a smaller car and will probably just take the Volvo once in a while..

Gewoon proberen in het Nederlands te schrijven. Als je hier woont moet dat lukken.

A great surprise, The car has already arrived !!!!!!!. Got called by the dealer yesterday. Next week they will put on the trekhaak, Polestar tuning and make it ready so can probably pick it up within 2 weeks ....
