Navigation integrated on dashboard

First of all, sorry I don't speak Dutch.

I saw this navigation unit:

Does anyone of you know whether they sell it separately and for how much? They do not answer my e-mails.

Is there any other way to integrate e.g. a Tomtom unit on the dashboard like the original RTI?

Hello Larzmaster,

i think it`s a NAVteq type what i can remember about it, the won`t sell it separately.
look for "Volvotech" they are the best with this stuff and it will look like the original RTI

ik zou sowieso nordicauto niet adviseren persoonlijk, neem het voorbeeld dat ze de moeite niet eens nemen om een mail te beantwoorden, zijn de kleine dingen vaak die meer zeggen............

Dit toestel lijkt niet op het Volvo RTI systeem qua bediening, een nogal misleidende tekst

ook stelt een mobility-line wel iets meer voor,dan alleen bigfront en
after market navigatie.
ben het met bart eens:een zeer misleidende reklame(beslist geen mobility-line)

Larzmaster, the above posts say basically:

- this is not really 'mobility-line', it just a bigfront and after market navigation. The ad is misleading.
- Euerw does not recommend Nordicauto, the simple fact that they don't answer your mail is a hint
- Ben advises not to use this solution due to position of the touchscreen: too far away from the drivers position to use safely

If you want it properly built in, the Volvotech RTI imitation screen is the best
solution, Bart translated the various reasons.

If you do want a portable navigation system you could also check-out
www.brodit.com. They provide brackets and braces so you can semi-built-in
a portable navigation system.
