On the technical side, the Lübeck team has taken a giant leap forward. Thanks to expensive special components and a lot of work, the newly installed bank of five cylinders now churns out 261 kw / 355 hp instead of the standard 250 hp. Torque increases from 330 Nm to 470 Nm. This achievement is the result of a whole bundle of changes. First, by means of special software, the electronic motor management was altered, so that, among other things, boost can build up to 1.4 bar. A new turbocharger, larger fuel injectors, special sparkplugs, an “optiflow” sports air filter together with the optimization of the air intake, all see to it that the motor is able to strut its stuff. A further contribution to the high performance level is made by a three-inch stainless steel exhaust pipe from the catalytic converter that ends in a 70-millimeter stainless steel sports tailpipe.

The performance is impressive, as one would expect. The 100 kph barrier is reached after just under 6 seconds, and acceleration doesn’t stop till 260 kph, at which point the motor is doing 6000 rpm in fifth gear.

Van de technische kant gezien, heeft het team Lübeck een reuze sprong vooruit gemaakt. Met dank aan de dure speciale componenten en heel veel werk, het onlangs geïnstalleerde vijf cilinderblok levert nu uit 261 kW/355 PK in plaats van standaard 250 PK. Het koppel is gestegen van 330 NM tot 470 NM. Dit is het resultaat van vele veranderingen. Als eerste door middel van speciale software, werd het elektronische motormanagement veranderd, zodat onder andere de verhoging van 1.4 bar kan worden opgebouwd. Een nieuwe turbocompressor, grotere brandstofinjectors, speciale bougies, een „Optiflow“ sport luchtfilter en het optimalisering van de luchtopname, zorgt ervoor dat de motor zich helemaal suf kan zuigen . Een verdere bijdrage tot de hogere prestaties, wordt geleverd door een 3 -duims roestvrij stalen uitlaatpijp die van de katalysator in een 70 mm roestvrijstalen sport eindpijp eindigt.

De prestaties zijn indrukwekkend, zoals men verwacht kan hebben. De 100 km/h barrière werd bereikt net onder 6 seconden, en het versnellen houdt niet op bij 260 km/h, als de motor 6000 t/min in vijfde versnelling doet.
